April 23-26, 2026 Chard (GB) info on Chard --> Master List

Dear all We really thought that we would get some riders from Other nations coming to Chard this year as transport and paperwork was going to be arranged with a professional company. But it seems that at the moment nobody is coming but please let me know if that is incorrect. There are some Irish riders who want to come but the attraction for them was to be part of a team competition and if we don’t have any other nations that becomes a problem and they probably will not come. Gert asked me to look into hiring horses for the show and i have found someone who would supply horses for the small tour. The cost would be about £600 per horse. If we had any interest in the large tour i can try and source horses for that as well. Please ask your riders whether they are interested in coming to our show either with their own horses or renting one here. It would be so good to have some visitors and we are already halfway to a proper international event now if we can make sure the Irish do come. Please let me know yes or no. Best wishes James Loffet
